Week four is officially in the books, which means we’ve already reached the halfway point of the Digital Summer Clinic!
This week, the Denovo Fertility marketing team met again with Melanie de Vries from the Michigan Small Business Development Center. She shared valuable strategies for integrating AI into our workflow, and I was able to apply many of her insights directly to my work on the website.
I also took my first “fail faster” attempt at the Google Analytics certification exam. I scored 44%, which is not quite as high as I’d hoped, but still a solid starting point. The certification is more in-depth than I expected, which makes me even more excited to continue learning and take the test again.
The Clinic paused meetings this week in observance of the July 4th holiday, which gave me some uninterrupted time to focus on the landing page redesign.
Right now, my top priority is refining the landing page funnel. Previous versions of the page included multiple calls to action and lacked a clear, unified focus. I’ve since narrowed it down to a single, prioritized call to action and have begun designing high-fidelity wireframes in Figma to support this updated approach. I’m especially grateful that this project is giving me a chance to sharpen my Figma skills. I’ve used the program lightly in the past, but never at this scale.
Next week, I’m aiming to finish the wireframes and start rolling out the next phase of website improvements. I’m excited to keep building on this momentum!
Quote of the week:
“Marketing is just storytelling.”
