It’s week seven, and time is running out!
My primary focus this week has been developing content for the loss landing page. This page is meant to be a gentle, supportive space for parents who have experienced the loss of a child during their fertility journey. Because of its emotional weight and importance, I want to take my time to get the language right. I’m currently awaiting final feedback from the team, and once I receive it, I’ll begin wireframing the page.
On the certification front, I’ve now taken the Google Analytics exam three times, with my most recent score landing at 76%. I need an 80% to pass, so I’m almost there. I’m continuing to review the material and push myself to fully understand the content. I’m confident my next attempt will reflect all the progress I’ve made and will allow me to finally pass the certification.
My attention was partially pulled from the Clinic this week for an exciting reason: I published my first news story for The Eastern Echo! I was able to write a feature article about the new sustainability organization, Zero Waste Ypsi. Zero Waste Ypsi is the local Ypsilanti chapter of ZeroWaste.Org. If you’re interested in reading my work or learning about the organization, you can find the article here.
Looking ahead, the end of the Digital Summer Clinic is fast approaching, but there’s still a lot I want to accomplish. My goal is to redesign and wireframe as many of Denovo Fertility’s website pages as possible before the internship wraps up. I want to leave the team in a strong design direction and walk away having gained as much experience as I can. It’s a full sprint to the finish from here.
